Manufacturing Associate

This is an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Associate position located in Ladson, South Carolina.

  • Team-based work environment training

  • Capable of learning and operating all machines

  • Ability to operate simultaneous machining / assembly operations

  • Ability to understand and use process documentation, standardized work procedures and basic quality control skills

  • Shift work - may involve rotation

  • Weekend work may be required

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager


  • Must be able to lift and carry 47 lbs, 17" x 6 metal baskets from 26 height to 36 height in and out of a washer

  • Must be able to press a depth gauge horizontally, requiring 15lb of force from right to left

  • Must be able to reach to 63 height, 12 depth to pull down on Hommel Gauge handle

  • Must push/pull a metal hook to extract oven racks from 38 away at a height of 52 requiring 36lb of force generated vertically

  • Must be able to grasp with 55lb of open-grasp force to remove collets

  • Must be able to ascend/descend a 4 step up to 1 time per minute for the entire shift

  • Must be able to continuously stand and walk for 2 hours at a time, up to 12 hours per shift

  • Must possess Near/Far/Depth/Color vision to read directions, signs.



  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Excellent math skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Computer (PC/Windows) skills preferred


  • Team-based work environment training

  • 6 months CNC machining or assembly experience preferred

  • Experience in measuring equipment preferred: indicators, micrometers, go/no-go gages

  • High School Diploma / Equivalency

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
