Randstad is seeking an Accountant for a permanent opening in Charleston, SC. In this role, candidate will provide administrative and financial support, such as data entry into database and other Excel spreadsheets related to vendors, customers, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The salary is 65k-73k annually based on applicable experience.

Typical Duties:
Assist with monitoring and recording daily activities of company's account and with reconciling of account balances
Assist with verifying bank deposits, maintaining general ledger
Set up new clients in ERP and Excel tracking sheet (establish credit, obtain W-9, and process paperwork with new client)
Review and update ERP and Excel tracking sheet as new documents come in (purchase orders, shipping date, received date, invoice, and payment)
Manage internal and external relationships including accountants, collection agencies, insurance agents, attorneys, vendors and local state agencies
Review financial records to ensure they are up to date
Review new purchase orders, assuring minimum requirements of purchase order are met
Assist with overseeing all business insurance plans and ensure that all appropriate insurance's are in place (liability, property and casualty, workers compensation, vehicle and fiduciary)
Assist with managing companies phone and data system, security, utilities, HVAC, cleaning, landscaping, garbage disposal, and supplies
Assist with calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff and in processing of payroll
Assist with reporting to parent company (collecting financial/sales/other data needed to complete financial forecasting, budget, consolidation and monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting in conformity with US GAAP in an accurate, efficient and timely manner)
Record expenditures and ensure these expenses are within the set budget: reporting on debtors and creditors
Working hours: 8am-5pm
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with an emphasis in accounting
3-5 years of experience in a medium size manufacturing environment handling accounting duties
Advanced ERP skills (Infor LN knowledge is a plus)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communications skills with proven ability to work well in a team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
