Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for efficient trade operations and regulatory compliance? We are seeking a Corporate Librarian/Entry Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of information, accurate entry of goods through Customs regulations, and overall success of Rogers & Brown.
As a key member of our Entry Department, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing information resources, facilitating trade processes, and contributing to our company's achievements.
Basic Functions:
This position is a unique opportunity for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you'll take on the responsibilities of both an Entry Specialist and a Corporate Librarian, ensuring the efficient exchange of information, promoting compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our trade operations.
We are looking for someone who is capable of managing high-volume periods and maintaining exceptional performance under pressure.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Create new customer packets for Importing/Exporting, ensuring proper paperwork alignment with sales emails and company protocols.
Thoroughly vet power of attorney (POA) documents to facilitate regulatory compliance.
Review packing list and commercial invoice documents, ensuring accuracy against the Bill of Lading (BOL).
Manage monthly bond renewals, including sorting, billing decisions, and termination considerations for the previous nine months.
Update client ratings in Cargo Wise to align with company tariffs and standards.
Maintain a calendar of accounts, tracking address changes and coordinating monthly bond responses.
Generate daily and monthly reporting metrics to provide valuable insights.
Post accounts payable invoices with precision and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Proficient in data entry with acute attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills, fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in Cargo Wise preferred.
Solid foundation in basic math principles.
Familiarity with Tariff & Customs Regulations is a plus.
Collaborative team player with excellent time management skills.
